BELLINGHAM
HARBOUR ·WA DESCRIPTION Conceptual planning/
framework design for redevelopment of 137 acre Bellingham Harbour.
DETAILS Working with the local community Design Workshop set out to influence the
future for this vital piece of property located directly adjacent to downtown Bellingham.
A former paper mill, this site had experienced a long history of pollution rendering the
entire waterfront off limits to the local population, addressing the environmental issues
became the cornerstone of our design proposal. The second major issue was Bellingham's Economics
and how we can use this property as a catalyst for the city and their future growth in the
knowledge economy.
