Details on latest Internet facing public infrastructure getting hacked

Details are emerging on the latest Internet facing public infrastructure being compromised. A system in Springfield, Illinois is reporting issues with a city water control system and a pump being destroyed last week through their SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System) system which caused the water pump to burn out after being continuously turned on and off remotely.
