Horizon Uptown· Aurora, CO  DESCRIPTION Mixed use community development.  DETAILS The Horizon Uptown project is a "creative district" located on 500 acres of land in eastern Colorado, the project will take part in the LEED-ND (neighborhood development) pilot program and will focus on sustainability metrics across the development. Working with Lend Lease Communities, Design Workshop was added to the team to assist in the design of the streetscape and park system (65 acres) inclcuding a 40 acre Central Park that integrated a public school, commerce, and a community center in its boundries. My roles on the project inlcluded a primary role in the conceptual design/ research framework of the streetscapes as well as input into the park design process.
