Who we are

We are a company that designs and manufactures hardware for the implementation of wireless sensor networks, mesh networks and communication protocols for all sorts of distributed wireless networks. The R+D team consists of engineers specialized in the branches of telecommunications, IT, electronics and industrial design.

Our main lines of research and development are:

* Waspmote: low consumption sensor device for the creation of wireless sensor networks.

* Meshlium: the only multi-tech router integrating Wifi mesh (2.4GHz - 5GHz), ZigBee, GPRS, GPS and Bluetooth technologies in a single unit.

* N-vio: proximity marketing and message sending platform via Bluetooth.

Our premises are on the European Business and Innovation Centre CEEIARAGON. We currently enjoy the status of Spin Off from the University of Zaragoza, as proof of the innovative nature of our research and that of the Technology-based Innovation Company recognised by Ances. In just one year, we have managed to have our developments in companies, universities and research centres in over 40 countries on all five continents. In August 2008 we were granted the NEOTEC, award to finance the development and market launch of new Libelium products.
