Neul
Neul is a new Mobile Wireless Data Service Provider. We will deliver the first global, wireless network specifically designed for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications. We anticipate more than 50 billion devices will be internet-connected by 2020. Our network enables 'the Internet of Everything'
Neul aims to unify the currently fragmented world of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications. We are building a reliable, full coverage global network around a new, open M2M communications standard. We will enable completely new kinds of devices, services and business models. We are creating 'the Internet of Everything'.
Our long-range wireless network has been specifically designed to be 'data only'. This will allow the Neul network to support the anticipated explosive growth of M2M to reach more than 50 billion connections by 2020.
The Neul network will operate in newly available, licence-free 'White Space Spectrum' made available to utilise the unused spectrum within the TV bands. This digital dividend is happening worldwide. In the US the transition is now complete, while in the UK the process is well underway, with other territories following in the near future.
Neul's portfolio of proprietary and patented Intellectual Property, hardware platforms, software protocol stacks and physical network infrastructure will be used to roll out a network of base stations and services.
The name Neul is pronounced 'new-ul' and is derived from the Gaelic word for 'Cloud'.
Technology:
The Neul network will have:
The scale to support billions of devices simultaneously with high Quality-of-Service for M2M traffic.
Terminals which are ultra-low power and which can operate for years off primary and coin-cell batteries.
Very low cost network terminal modules that work 'straight out of the box'.
The best network for continuous device connection and the best security against unauthorised network access, fraud and denial of service attacks. All at an operating tariff to our customers which will be lower than other M2M operator tariffs.
