Situated Technologies Team is composed mainly of Omar Khan, Trebor Scholz, and Mark Shepard and is a co-production with the Center for Virtual Architecture, The Institute for Distributed Creativity (iDC), and the Architectural League of New York.
Omar and Mark are both working at CAST- Center for Architecture and Situated Technologies and Trebor is working on releasing a new book among other things.
Through their editing at the Situated Technologies pamphlet series they have tried to "to explore the implications of ubiquitous computing for architecture and urbanism: How are our experience of the city and the choices we make in it affected by mobile communications, pervasive media, ambient informatics, and other “situated” technologies" and they have gathered many of the leading thinkers in the topic including Usman Haque, Philip Beesley and Nicolad Nova. You can view the complete series here where you can download many of the pamphlet PDF's for free, or you can support the project by ordering through Lulu for a physical copy.
I recommended checking out what all three of this team are up to.
